"Something more than words," I replied. "Crystals. I want to send my readers armloads of crystals, some of which are the colors of orchids and peonies, some of which pick up radio signals from a secret city that is half Paris and half Coney Island."

REWIND WEDNESDAY

Rewind Wednesday - as in I'm going back in time today to bring you this post.

Although I can't remember the exact date, I'll never forget visiting Mini-Graceland, also known as Elvis City, in Roanoke. It was a beautiful spring day a few weeks ago when Tom and I decided to make this trek to pay homage to The King. I was skeptical that it even existed so imagine my surprise when our GPS Sweetie (Lola?) announced "arriving at Mini-Graceland on the right" in her unmistakable British accent.

I'm convinced that there is little I can say to do Mini-Graceland justice; you'll simply have to see it for yourself. There were elaborately built tiny structures. And dirty diapers. And donation boxes. And Christmas lights. I kid you not.

Do yourself a favor and take your loved ones to see this little miracle and then report back here so others will know I'm not making this up!
